Jerry Mullen

Jerry Mullen served as head men’s basketball coach at Cowley County Community College from 1973-1979 and has been inducted into the Tiger of Hall of Fame. He compiled a 107-67 (.615) record in six seasons.

During the 1977-78 season, he guided the Tigers to the Jayhawk Conference Eastern Division title. During his last season, 1978-79.

Cowley was nationally ranked during his final two seasons in which the Tigers went 24-6 (1977-78) and 25-5 (1978-79).

After serving as men’s basketball coach and athletic director at Barton County Community College, where he compiled a record of 121-66, Jerry left college coaching in 1985.

Since then, he’s built Mullen Sports Enterprises into the nation’s top junior college scouting service and hosts some of the country’s most respected and anticipated basketball events.  This includes the Top 100 JUCO camp and high profile team tournament and shootouts for unsigned players, in addition, he partners with scout Mike Mitchell (Midwest Scouting), to host a 60-plus team junior college jamboree in Dallas, Texas.
